The Rotary Club of Dénia continues this year, under the presidency of Maribel Roselló, the work of support for people with Functional Diversity. So, after the success of the documentary Functional Diversity, Works, Rotarians in the area will meet again, on Saturday 28 in July, to support new causes.
Specifically, this year the objective is the Xara Day Center, which is planned to open for users from the entire Comarca de la Marina Alta and that, among other things, it will have a Multisensory Room: an educational tool where stimulation and relaxation are combined, a place where through a series of objects (bubble tube, vibrating mattress, essence diffuser, massager, beam fiber optics, balls, music...) sensory stimulation (visual, tactile, auditory, olfactory...) and relaxation are favored, seeking various objectives: development of communication strategies, interaction with the environment, establishment of personal relationships... that improve the physical and mental well-being of people.
The solidarity dinner will be on Saturday, 28 in July at the 21: 30 hours in the halls of Jardines El Poblet.
