Dénia Rhythmic Club finishes the season with its participation in the Championship of Spain of Sets in Pamplona

Between the 14 and the 17 of December, the components of the Dénia Rhythmic Club traveled to Pamplona to participate in the Championship of Spain of Sets of Rhythmic Gymnastics in the categories Alevín, Infantil y Senior.

The young team managed to qualify 9º of Spain and was on the verge of qualifying to the finals on Sunday, after performing two exercises without failures in a category where it was a high level and that excites the team to keep working.

The children's club of the Calpe Club, which was part of the Dianense gymnast Nuria Baeza, was classified in 5º position in the general and was crowned Champion of Spain in the finals on Sunday.

For its part, the Senior team suffered a setback that was decisive for their score. In the middle of the execution they suffered the breakage of one of the clubs and, in spite of the rapid reaction of the gymnast, the final grade made the classification very difficult. The whole team (gymnasts and coaches) recovered from the accident and in the second pass they were able to show the fantastic work done during the last months, but they did not get the classification at the end of Sunday.

Thus ends an intense season for the club, which is already looking at the 2019 with renewed illusions.
