El Real Club Nautico Denia ended a season of regattas last Saturday, with the celebration of the 6ª Trial of the Cabo San Antonio Trophy 2017-18. The trophy, already consolidated, is organized by the Real Club Náutico Dénia y Club Náutico Jávea, winning club of this edition.
On this occasion, the sum of the points of the boats of the Nautical Club Jávea, gave the victory to the neighboring club, which took the sculpture of Antonio Marí to Jávea, after having been several years in the Dianense club.
The boats "Marara", by Vicente Reig, "Ascaló" by Rafael García Bartual and "Lontano" by Elena Bover were the winners of the trophy that gave the club the victory.
The coastal tour began at 11:30 am in waters near the Torre del Gerro. During the test the leading boats in the classification of the regatta were the red crew of the boat "Kim" by Yann Lythgoe from the Real Club Náutico Dénia, "Manzanita" by José María Pineda from RCN Dénia and "Ascaló" by Rafael García Bartual , owner of Jávea.
At the end of the race, the Real Club Náutico Dénia celebrated the delivery of trophies in the club's tent, accompanied by an appetizer that ended the racing season. Juan M. Riera, vice president of RCN Dénia and Alejandro Liniers, Treasurer of Club Náutico Jávea, were in charge of delivering the prizes to the winners, in a trophy presentation presented by Antonio Vidal, director of sports, of the Dianense club.
