Great day that lived the master team of the Dénia Swimming Club in the Petrel municipal swimming pool where the I Naturalswim Trophy.
At this event a total of 17 swimming clubs participated, highlighting the Dianense club that returned with 17 medals, rising with the trophy to the third best club in the tournament despite being the club that contributed fewer swimmers, with only eight.
All the components of the club, led by the swimmer Pau Escutia, managed to lower their personal marks in all the tests, which indicates the good shape in which they are at this stage of the season.
Results of the swimmers
Carla Ruiz He managed to be first in the 200m free with a time of 2'34 "82. His second test was the 50m free in which he was in third position with a time of 31" 34.
María Bisquert he managed to be first in his category in the 200m free, stopping the stopwatch in 2'42 "03. In the 100m styles he got a second place with a time of 1'26" 83.
Ineke Weekers He was first in his two tests, with a time of 2'44 "58 in the 200m free and 1'34" 19 in the 100m styles.
Monica Berenguer he was in second position in the 200m free, managing to lower his personal mark 3 seconds with a time of 2'49 "88. The 100m styles swam them in 1'29" 59, time that served him to be in third position of his category .
Antonio Albaladejo he got silver in his 100m styles, with a time of 1'18 "51. The free 200m swam in 2'28" 40, being fourth in this test.
Francesc Miralles He also competed in the 100m styles, stopping the clock in 1'16 "52, time that placed him in fifth position of his category. In the free 50m he was in fourth position, about 20 thousandths of the third position.
Alvaro de María-Tomé he swam the 200m free in 2'27 "01, lowering his personal mark 3 seconds and being in fifth position in his category. The 100m styles he swam in 1'20" 57. In this test he managed to improve his personal brand 5 seconds.
Arturo Ruiz He was in fourth position in his 200m free, with a time of 2'47 "38. In the 50m free he touched the third position with a time of 34" 63.
Finally came the mixed relay. In this trophy and as a novelty they swam about 8x50 free in which the 8 swimmers of Dénia participated as a team. It was an exciting test in which the Dianenses boys were aware that the triumph could grant them the coveted trophy. They finished the test in 4'16 "73. The whole team went up to the podium where they were handed their medals and the desired trophy. The next day they returned to the water at the facilities of the Royal Yacht Club of Dénia to continue with the planning it's from the season.
