El Dénia Swimming Club-Aquàtic Les Marina occupied the fifth place in the Club Cup Second Division that took place in Castellón. In the capital of La Plana, the best swimming clubs of the Region of Valencia gathered. An appointment in which the Dianenses club was debutant, thanks to the good results achieved in recent years.
Among the actions at the individual level, it is necessary to point out the general decline of brands of all club swimmers. All were very motivated given the importance of the competition and reduced their times.
Miguel Angel Ordóñez, swimmer of the year 2002 stayed less than a second of the minimum for the Spain Championship, in the 100 free meters test. His record was 56,44, a historical record in the club and hundredths of the 50 free meters, where he made a mark of 25,48.
Benito Pastor, of the year 2003, managed to lose the minute in the 100 free meters, besides adding a great mark in the 100 meters back with, 1.08,73, second best time of the competition among the children swimmers.
Noteworthy are the performances of Joan Puigcerver in the 100 free meters, with a record of 58,52. Andrea in the 50 meters back with a mark of 37,63 and Antonio in the 50 meters with a time of 29,21.
All swimmers managed to put the club among the best in the Region of Valencia, a success unprecedented in the club.
