On Sunday 21 the III Regatta of the Liga Suma de Banco Fijo del Mediterráneo was held in the waters of Calp where the Club de Rem Marina de Denia managed to take two silvers home. This club featured two teams that covered a distance of 5000 meters and four course changes.
The veteran men's team rose to second place after a frantic regatta where the rowers even had to stop rowing on certain occasions due to the proximity of other boats and possible collisions. They took a total of 24: 03,87.
The veteran women's team boat did a hat-off race where it overtook all the boats ahead, entering almost on par with another boat at the finish line. They finally got the silver with a time of 26: 16,87.
The absolute male team of this club made its debut in the competition and obtained an eighth place with a time of 26: 47,57.
The next regatta will be on the 28th in Valencia. There the last mid-distance regatta of the season will be held to give way to the Mediterranean llaüt and track regattas. The Club Rem Marina de Dénia continues training to rise to the top in the competition.
