The Almussafes Adult Training Center has been the winner of the 18ª Prize "Ciutat de Dénia"For the Training of Adults in recognition of their 30 years of uninterrupted educational activity, period in which they have promoted"The defense and promotion of education and ongoing critical education, active, popular and Valencian, from an educational, ethical and political dimension".
The teaching team, students and authorities will be on Friday 5, at 20 hours, in the plenary hall of the City of Denia to receive the award. The event will include a lecture by Mª José Chisvert Tarazona, a professor at the University of Valencia, titled "The accreditation of skills: relevance of learning outcomes"
The jury that has failed the prize of the eighteenth call has been integrated by Pepa Sivera, Councilor for Culture and Education of the City of Denia; Josep Aparicio Guadas, representing the teaching staff of Adult Training (FPA); Vicent Penalba Azorín, representing the students of the FPA; Vicent Más Estela, director of the FPA Center of Denia; María Mut Mezquida, Councilor for Human Resources of the Dénia City Council and Maribel Font, technician of the Culture Department of the Dénia City Council, the latter acting as secretary.
All of them very positively valued the trajectory of the Municipal Public Center for Adult Education in Almussafes, a teaching unit that for three decades has been open to the demands of the municipality, adapting its educational offer to a society in continuous evolution and dynamism.
This year's recognition, 2015 to the CMFPA, has satisfied both the teaching team, its alumni association and all local corporations that have witnessed its formative trajectory in the locality.
