Last Saturday the streets of Dénia once again filled with life, color and fun with the carnival. On one of the most festive days of the year, coinciding with the Mig Any of Moors and Christians and different fallero acts, the carnival managed to shine with its own light, with an attendance of almost 2000 people throughout the program.
In this year's edition, the Oriental theme reigned, with Mulán's story as the guiding thread of the event that took place this year in the Valgamedios square, prior to the awards ceremony. However, before all that started a parade that filled the interior of Dénia with joy, from the Plaza del Consell to the square already named, with the collaboration of Patricia Sentí's ballet and the presence of a huge dragon that reminded the New Year Chinese.
This year the prizes, very close, were given in different categories: Mini (up to 4 years old), children (from 5 to 12 years old), duo (couples without age limit) and comparsas (groups of 3 or more without age limit ).
