24 2018 April - 07: 55

The cadet Joan Puigcerver comes from proclaiming champion of Spain in the Spanish Duathlon Championship by teams, which was held in Soria. Puigcerver was one of the members of the Club Tripuçol. In this competition 40 teams took part of all the Spanish geography.

The triathlete of La Xara revalidates with his team the title of national champion for the third consecutive year, which shows the quality that this team treasures. Achieving this title for three consecutive years is not available to anyone.

The Tripuçol team consisted of Joan Puigcerver, Adrián Año, Jesús Jiménez, Javier Llopis and Arnau Rosaleny.

The distances covered were 2.5 from race to race, a second bike segment of 10 kilometers and a last one of 1.200 meters again from race to race. Puigcerver, despite not being able to train very well on foot in the last two weeks due to a problem in one of his knees, fought the unspeakable with the rest of his teammates so that his club achieved a substantial advantage over the second placed of something more than 1 minute.

Each team consists of five athletes and must reach the finish line at least four together, and Joan was one of them. This means that the best four of the team must be very strong to be the best. If the fourth man fails, everyone must go at his own pace.

1 º Tripuçol ... 30.59
2 º CT Huracan Cultbikes "E" ... 32.14
3 º Tritrain4you 02-Cabberty “E" ... 32.37
