Thousands of people spent this Sunday, the third day of the XI Dénia Nautical Show, for the facilities of the Puerto Deportivo Marina de Denia. The good weather and the numerous activities proposed for people of all ages and concerns have encouraged thousands of people to come to the port to enjoy the lounge.

Among the proposals of this weekend was the talk about the Obmar project (marine observers) aimed at sports and professional sailing. The purpose of this project is to combine efforts through the participation of the professional and sports nautical sector and of all those people who are directly or indirectly linked to the sea (fishermen, merchant marine, SEMAR, sport navigators, divers, maritime excursions, etc.). ).

The talk was given by Josep Crespo, Councilor for the Environment of the Dénia City Council and Toni Martínez, head of the surveillance service of the Cabo de San Antonio Marine Reserve, who recalled that "In recent years, studies and monitoring carried out on our coastline, show that Dénia is a strategic place for the passage of cetaceans and seabirds. The geographical location, together with other factors, make it a unique observation point on the coast Valencian dolphins, whales and countless seabirds, pass very close to our beaches".

One of the activities that generated the greatest excitement was the exhibition of Flyboard, by Maremoto, a very colorful exhibition that thousands of people from different locations in the port could enjoy.

Also, as every year, animals are also protagonists in the Boat Show. In the morning the traditional canine fashion show took place, from the company Mascotetes. In the afternoon the rescue exhibition was held with Newfoundland dogs, which Marenostrum makes every year.

Showcase for nautical novelties

El XI Dénia Boat Show It has become an important showcase for the presentation of the news of nautical companies. Swans Marine, presented the Sessa Marine brand, of which it will be an official distributor. It also shows, during the XI edition of the Denia Boat Show, the new Sport Class line from the innovative Italian shipyard Sacs Marine.

For its part, the nautical Nuva Yachts has also participated in the nautical show with its Nuva M6, which stands out for its bold design and maximum comfort. The model has a dimension of 5,99 meters in length that allows enjoyment of recreational sailing with a very accessible price, maintaining the highest levels of quality. Its design, architecture and production are carried out entirely in Barcelona.

Free activities for all ages

The Dénia Boat Show offers, until tomorrow Tuesday, 1 in May, catamaran trips to the Cabo de San Antonio Marine Reserve, 10: 00, 11: 30 and 13: 00 hours. For the little ones there are children's workshops and remote-controlled boats from 10: 00 to 14: 00 hours and 16: 00 to 20: 00 hours.

You can also do paddle surfing baptisms, Hawaiian canoes, Sup and Big Sup. In addition, there is a tourist train, free to move from the city to Marina de Dénia.
