The 44th Edition of the "Diana de Oro" started at 11 am on Saturday July 11. The third place went to Mike Marques' boat "Jerónimo II", also from the Dianense club, one of the first boats to reach the finish line after investing 10 hours and 58 minutes.

The gold of the 2-Class went to the ship "Ardora Tres" by Antonio Gadea of ​​the RCN. Dénia after investing 11 hours and 3 minutes to complete the tour, followed by the winner of the last edition "Pajuelín XIII" by Miguel Noriega. The boat "McArthur" of the Yacht Club of Benidorm, after investing 10 hours and 59 minutes. The bronze was taken by the ship "Un Moment" by Ginés Marquez after 11 hours and 50 minutes.

The route of proof in this 44ª Edition was Diana de Oro traditional, a total of 53 miles that began in the waters of Dénia, with an offset mark offshore to take towards the Peñeta del Moro in Cullera, and once past, back to the finish line at the entrance to the port city of Denia.

The wind and sea conditions during the race were fairly constant, a wind of 15 / 20 knots accompanied the fleet during the tour, which is rare but it turned out to be a very technical and fun journey for all sailors.

The boat "DeniaVela" navigated by members of the RCND competition teams and Vela monitors performed the regatta successfully, it was the last boat to enter the port but they were able to make the entire journey without complications and put into practice everything learned.

At the end of the race, the crew had prepared a barbecue at the snack bar of the club to regain strength and to celebrate the presentation of trophies to the winners. Juan Riera, vice president of RCND, Juan Antonio Carmona, commodore of RCND and Toni Vidal, sporting director were responsible for the awards ceremony, which took place at 00.00horas to finish dinner.
