The kiss bank: the project that will turn the Tenor Cortis square into an LGTBI symbol

The City Council of Dénia has announced this morning the new project with which they are looking make the LGTBI collective visible on the occasion of the next Pride Day, but not stopping at this one.

Taking advantage of the presentation of the program LGTBI Pride Day of Dénia, the Councilor for Equality, Javier Scotto, has announced the creation of what they have called The kiss bench. It is a bench that will be placed in the Tenor Cortis square to serve as a claim in order to make visible the affection between people, both from the collective and heteronormative or even family samples.

"A bank for the affective-sexual demonstration for all those who want to express their love without having to hide out of shame, "said Scotto.

The bank will have two famous quotes from authors of the LGTBI collective, which have not yet wanted to reveal until their official presentation on the day 23 June, when it will be installed and "inaugurated".

The consistory, with this project, wants to return to put on the map the newly renovated Tenor Cortis square, and turn it into a pilgrimage corner so that, drinking from the "charm and romanticism of the place", be an LGTBI symbol.

"Affectivity should not be retaliated," Scotto emphasizes, for what they seek that people come to show their affection in El banco del beso and upload it to social networks.
