The City Council takes measures against the cyber risks of new technologies

The Department of Addiction Prevention, through the UPCCA (Community Prevention Unit in Addictive Behaviors) of the City of Dénia, begins to program the activities for the course that now begins, focusing on school and family prevention.

For the fourth consecutive year the Educant initiative has been organized in the present. Under this title we want to pay attention to the importance of the education of the youngest to avoid problems related to risk behaviors. And not only looking in the future, but also acting in the present and beginning to solve problems that arise in relation to sons and daughters to avoid problems in the future.

This new edition of Educant in the present consists of two workshops aimed at mothers, fathers, families, teachers and other professionals, which will be held on 18 and 25 on September, starting at 20 hours, in the auditorium of the Dénia Culture House.

The workshop of September 18 is entitled Identifying cyber risks. Performance guidelines and legal aspects and will be taught by Caterina de Francisco Mallo, delegate of Citizen Participation of the National Police Corps in Dénia, specialized in training young people on issues related to their safety in the school environment (harassment, cybersecurity) and diploma in Science of The education.

The 25 day will address the issue Educating in a responsible and safe use of new technologies. Inma Camacho Ferrer, clinical psychologist, psychologist of the Unit of Addictive Behaviors (UCA) of Dénia and master in Drug Dependencies and other Addictive Disorders of the University Alfonso X Lo Sabio, and Juanjo Sala Soler, psychologist of the UPCCA Dénia, psychologist of the Center of Day of Support to the Treatment of Addictions of the Foundation AEPA in Dénia and of the association ACOMAAD, master in Family Management and with specialization in Mediation (UV) and Addictive Behaviors (UAB), are the professionals in charge of giving this workshop.
