The city wants to change the site of the former Treasury ambulatory another close to Torrecremada

The municipality of Dénia is in negotiations with the Treasury of the Social Security to change the ownership of the site of the old ambulatory, in full Calle Marques de Campo, By another located next to the courts and close to Torrecremada.

The site of Marqués de Campo Street is owned by the Social Security Treasury since 2006 closed the building because of the deficiencies it presented and demolished in 2008. A year ago, The city council began negotiations with the Treasury to get a temporary transfer of land for use as a green area.

Now the mayor of Denia has met again with the provincial director of the Social Security Treasury, Gema Gomez, with whom she has visited the municipal land located in the vicinity of Torrecremada that the town hall wants to exchange for the site Old ambulatory.

This plot has, like the one on Calle Marqués de Campo, permission to build a ground floor, five floors and an attic, as well as 10% more surface area. It has a total of 1.000 square meters, and is close to other administrative centers such as the Treasury, near the Palace of Justice and with the possibility of public parking in the surroundings, among other advantages.

As indicated by the mayor, this proposal has been very well received by the representative of the Treasury. Now the city council has to draft a proposal in a detailed way so that the economic services of the Treasury study it and initiate the viability file.
