Since the Unit for Attention to Persons at Risk of Eviction of the Dénia Housing Department came into operation last February, 121 has been in charge of questions related to payment problems, payment in kind and refinancing of the mortgage the team has attended.
Given that this is a growing problem, the councilor of the area, Pepa Font, announced that at the beginning of next year they will meet with the banking entities that have an office in Dénia to negotiate the creation of a social housing fund destined to evicted people through the payment of a symbolic rent that is affordable by the families.
Parallel to this action, the care unit for people at risk of eviction has processed 55 requests from evicted families to be included in the social rent program launched by the Generalitat Valenciana.
The Office of Attention to Persons at Risk of Eviction of the housing department of Dénia is open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 11 to 14 hours and on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 17 to 19 hours (by appointment).
