The city council is studying to implement a service to locate incidents in the municipality

May 04 from 2011 - 14: 36

This is a pioneering project, the LANDIS project, which allows the rapid management of alarms in the urban and surrounding area.

The City Council of Dénia and the Valencian Cartographic Institute (ICV) are shaping the implementation of this innovative project that integrates GPS location information of the alarm, which allows generating optimal routes to the place from which the warning comes, propitiating that Security forces and emergency services can act more agilely.

From the control center, both the emergency and the nearest police or ambulance vehicles are located to send them to the scene. The technology shared by the vehicles and the control center allows designing the fastest route to the incident, calculating the time of arrival and communicating the position of the vehicle.

They should also install video cameras in the streets, so that the vandals who paint their walls and buildings, are controlled by the police and stop dirtying the city
