The City Council of Dénia, GVA and UA constitute the mixed commission for the construction of the future University Campus in Torrecremada

The mixed commission made up of the City Council of Dénia, the Generalitat Valenciana and the Universitat d'Alacant with the aim of rehabilitating the Torrecremada estate as the headquarters of the future university campus of Gastronomic Sciences-Center of International Excellence in Training and Gastronomic Innovation has been established this morning.

This mixed commission will be in charge of preparing an action protocol, deadlines and financing for the rehabilitation of the Torrecremada estate, which will also include a study of the needs of the units that will make up the campus. This protocol will have to be signed before the end of 2020.

In this online constitutive session, the mayor of Dénia, Vicent Grimalt, the Councilor for Education, Melani Ivars and the councilor and provincial deputy, Òscar Mengual. On behalf of the Generalitat Valenciana, the General Director of Analysis and Public Policies, Ana Berenguer, the General Director of the Public Sector and Heritage, Isabel Castelló and the Undersecretary of Innovation, Universities, Science and Digital Society, Verónica López, attended.

On behalf of the Universitat d'Alacant, the vice-rector for Studies and Training of the UA, Enrique Herrero and the director of Gasterra, Josep Bernabéu, have appeared.
