Pepa Font, Councilor for Planning and Urban Management, has announced that the City Council of Dénia will be incorporated into the Young Housing Exchange program of INJUVE. This measure aims to develop actions that facilitate residential emancipation of young people in the municipality.
The signing of this agreement will allow the municipal program for the Rent of the City Council of Dénia access to the 170.000 euros that INJUVE puts within the reach of Local Administrations.
Pepa Font has stated that "in contexts like the current one it is necessary to rationalize all public spending and make it much more effective and efficient". It also highlights the need to bring citizens initiatives that can guarantee the right to decent housing, giving local authorities a leading role in the development of initiatives that reinforce the principle of inter-administrative collaboration.
