The City Council of Dénia has commissioned the emergency purchase of 25 tablets with an internet connection that will be delivered to students in the city who do not have computer means in their homes with which to continue their training electronically while the confinement lasts.
With this measure, the city council completes the allocation of tablets that the Ministry of Education has carried out. Dénia institutes themselves were the ones who, faced with the offer to put at their disposal the necessary resources made by the mayor, Vicent Grimalt, and the Councilor for Education, Melani Ivars, in the meeting that they held at the beginning of the week, have communicated the need to have 20 more tablets to guarantee coverage to all the students of secondary, high school and training cycles in Dénia. The city council, however, will acquire 25 units in case any other need arises later.
The processing of the purchase and delivery of the tablets to the institutes will take place over the next few days, with the idea that when classes resume after the school holidays of Easter and Easter, all the students are already equipped.
The tablets will be delivered to students on loan with the same conditions required by the Ministry of Education.
