The Youth Department of the Dénia City Council once again gives prominence to the creative talent of the city's youth with the reactivation of the Joves Art Room of the Youth Building. The 2025-26 season begins this Friday, September 26 at 19:30 p.m., with the inauguration of the 'd'ART' exhibition, by the Dianense artist Iker Polvoreda Alcaraz.
Polvoreda studied Artistic Baccalaureate in Dénia and Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Assets in Valencia, and is currently training as a Fallas artist. His career reflects an open and respectful approach to art, both in its classical and popular forms.
The exhibition features original oil and watercolor paintings, along with a section of prints of renowned major works. The artist combines figurative technique and expressive freedom., exploring portraits, landscapes, still lifes, and animals. The result is a sincere and delicate style that invites the viewer to perceive the volatility of its tones and the sensitivity of its lines.
«With the Sala Joves Art we reactivate this space that is much more than a room exhibitions"It is a platform for the new creative generations," said the Youth Councillor, Valen Alcala"Iker's proposal is a clear example of how local talent can move and inspire reflection. I encourage you to enjoy it."
The 'd'ART' exhibition can be visited until October 25, Tuesday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 13:00 p.m. and from 16:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Saturdays from 21:00 a.m. to 13:00 p.m., in the Joves Art Room of the Youth building (Ronda de les Muralles, 42).

We must support Denia's youth in sports, art, and studies without having to move to provincial capitals and pay rents that are impossible for working people to afford. Iker, let's go ahead with everything!
