The Department of Health Dénia has joined the commemoration of the global week of breastfeeding by issuing a special video about the keys to success for which mothers give birth in Marina Salud they choose breastfeeding for their babies, in total 90%.
This high percentage owes to the work carried out by the maternity department of the regional hospital of Dénia that consists of carrying out a whole protocol of action.
From the same classes of preparation for childbirth, the health department of the Marina Salud already provides information about breastfeeding and offers the possibility of signing a document "Birth Plan", by which the patient expresses her wishes; not only in matters of how to give birth, but also how you want your child to be fed in the first hours of life.
