The Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport, in agreement with the majority of autonomous regions and the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training, has decided to move to September the completion of the unified certification tests (PUC) of languages of official language schools ( EOI), postponed before the declaration of the state of alarm to face COVID-19.
It must be remembered that this year more than 32.000 people have registered for the PUCs throughout the EOI network of the Valencian educational system, which is made up of 24 schools and 49 sections distributed in 67 municipalities, which offer the teaching of 17 languages in total .
Once the transfer to September of the ordinary call for EOI tests has been agreed, the General Directorate for Language Policy and Multilingualism Management has determined that the extraordinary test will be held throughout November. Both calls will be held whenever the health authorities allow it.
Enrollment in these tests took place before the declaration of the state of alarm and the provisional lists of admitted persons have already been published. The definitive lists will be made public at the end of June, when the argument period ends. Before July 31, the specific calendar for the days of September will be published, in which the four written language activities of the PUC will take place.
All this information will be published on the website of the official language schools (see here, as well as the procedure for the refund of fees to people who request it because they cannot take the test on the new specific dates established in September.
In addition, the transfer of the tests and the most important points of the resolution of modification of the calendar will be individually communicated to the more than 32.000 people registered for the PUCs of the year 2020.

Students of 'That's English!'
As for the students of 'That's English!', The registration period for the certification test will be exclusively by telematic means and will open from 12.00 noon on June 24 to 23.59 p.m. on June 25, 2020. On the other hand, with respect to the tests of the Qualifying Board of Coneixements de Valencià, they will be convened again at the moment in which the health authorities set the protocols that allow the development of examinations with guarantee that last year they registered near of 37.000 people.
The Plenary of the JQCV will meet to assess whether it is feasible to reconvene the 2020 Valencian certification tests at the different levels, with a new registration period and with the dates of the exams. The aim of Education is to be able to do them during the last four months of the year, if the health authorities allow it.
