Education activates the web telematricula.es to process the telematic admission from home

The Ministry of Education, Science and Sports has created the web telematricula.es to make the telematic school admission for the next academic year 2020-2021 to any educational stage quickly and easily.

Families only need to have their DNI or NIE on hand to obtain the admission key necessary to carry out this procedure, which will be done, mostly, through the Internet.

The web telematricula.es It was created with the aim of promoting that the vast majority of the population who must carry out this procedure can do it from home and that they do not go to any educational center.

This procedure is especially important for those families that enroll their sons and daughters for the first time in 2-year-old classrooms free of charge and in 3-year-olds, as well as for those students who start a vocational training cycle or want to study in 1st Baccalaureate.

In the rest of the educational stages, families use this procedure to a lesser extent, since it should only be used to change the sons and daughters of an educational center for reasons such as, for example, the change of residence from one population to another.

We must remember that the admission process for Infants and Primary will take place from June 8 to 16 and in the rest of the stages from June 17 to 25.

On the web telematricula.es there are different windows that will be active for each moment of the school calendar. That is why now you can see basic information about the procedure in the FAQ section.

However, to start the procedure what you have to do is obtain the 'admission key'. There is a specific window to obtain it and this key can be generated from June 8 in Infant and Primary, not before; and from June 17 in the rest of the educational stages, not before.

The 'Admission key' window

The first step will be to generate the admission key to do the electronic admission procedure. In the 'Admission key' window, the ID number of the requesting father, mother or legal guardian, the IDESP support number (9-letter code and numbers in the ID), the date of birth of the requesting person will be requested. , acceptance of verification from the Ministry of the Interior and an email address.

Foreign citizens, who do not have a DNI, must fill in the same information but with their NIE. Apart from putting the NIE, you will have to fill in a box with the IXESP support number (code included in the foreigners cards and residence permits), as well as the date of birth of the applicant and the acceptance of verification from the Ministry of the Interior and an email address.

Made this first management, the requesting person will receive by email the identifier and the password for each request that they have to make according to the number of sons and daughters that they must register.

It is important that the access key with an identifier and a password is kept in order to be able to make claims later when the provisional lists have been made public. On the web there will be a specific window also for these procedures, as well as to consult provisional and definitive lists.

With the access code, you can access the electronic form in the 'Admission process' window, in which, step by step, you will have to fill in the application data for schools that are ordered in a preferred manner. Remember that you can choose up to 10 options per child.

People who do not have a DNI / NIE or those who do not have access to electronic means may do the admission procedure in person at the educational centers where they want to apply for a place as the first option on the same dates that the telematic procedure is determined.

All centers supported by public funds will be user service centers. At these points, through the same application to make the electronic admission, the procedure will be processed under the same conditions as the rest of the applicants.

A window for every step

After completing the online application for admission, there will only be three steps that will be activated as the enrollment calendar progresses.

There is a window of 'Provisional lists' of admitted in which you can enter to consult the results. If you are not satisfied, families can submit allegations by clicking on the button thereon, in which the corresponding electronic form will be displayed.

You will also be able to consult the 'Definitive Lists' of the process with which families will already know in which center they should enroll their sons and daughters.

The end of the process: effective enrollment

Once the families know the educational center where they teach their daughter or son, it is necessary that they contact the specific educational center or consult its specific website.

In the case of Infant and Primary, this last phase will take place between July 13 and 29 in person at the specific educational center. There the documents or situations alleged in the electronic admission process will be verified.

In the event that the non-coexistence of parents has been checked, the signature must be provided and the details of the father, mother, legal guardian who has not made the application for a place must be entered.

Calendar

In the Infant and Primary stages, the submission of telematic applications for admission will be made on the website telematricula.es from June 8 to 16. The information on the provisional lists will be made public on July 1 and people who want to make complaints about it will have from July 1 to 3 to process them with the access code. The final lists will be published on July 10 and the effective registration will be made by families from July 13 to 29.

In the rest of the stages, the presentation of telematic applications for admission will be made at telematricula.es from June 17 to 25.

The information of the provisional lists in ESO and Baccalaureate will be given on July 15 and claims can be made from this day until July 17. The final lists will be published on July 27 and two enrollment periods will be established: from July 28 to 31 and September 1 and 2.

In the case of Basic FP, the provisional lists will be published on July 13. You can claim from July 13 to 15. The final lists will be made public on July 27 and registration will be from July 22 to 28.

Regarding the intermediate and higher degree of FP, the provisional lists will be published on July 20. You can claim from July 20 to 22. The final lists will be made public on July 29 and enrollment will be from September 1 to 9.

Tiebreaker Letters Giveaway

Remember that the formula has been modified to make it even fairer, opting for a double letter system instead of a single one.

The tiebreaker letters are used in those educational centers where there are ties to points in the scale among the applicants. Students are prioritized according to the highest score obtained successively in the 9 established criteria. However, when there are tied candidates, it is when the letter system is used to tie the tie in the event that there are more applications than places in that educational center.
