Eduardo Reyes, of the Real Club Náutico Dénia, winner of 'Deniavela 2019'

The Real Club Náutico de Dénia facilities hosted the regatta last weekend Déniavela 2019 in which 112 sailors participated.

Eduardo Reyes, of the RCND, got the victory at all masculine. The second place in this category went to Pedro Adán, from RCN Valencia, while the third position was obtained by the dianense club sailor Vicente Fernández.

With two days characterized by the wind, the Dianense club made the six races scheduled in their race for Optimist B.

Furthermore, the Real Club Nautico Denia won the Club Trophy victory, after three of its sailors got on the podium.

On the other hand, Lucy Crosbe, of the CN Jávea, won in the Women's Absolute category, with second position for RCND Valencia sailor, Blanca Ferrando and third for Carla Ivars of RCND.

In Sub. 11 Feminine, the winner was Blanca Ferrando, from RCN Valencia, followed by María Fenoll from CN Santa Pola and Carlota Ballester from RCN Torrevieja. In the Sub category. 11 male, Leo Griñán of RCN Torrevieja got the first place, Carlos Sánchez of CN Costablanca was in second position, and Jesús Campos, of RCR Alicante, in third.

The awards ceremony was attended by Vicent Crespo, Councilor for Sports of the Dénia City Council, José Manuel Liceras, Technical Director of the Sailing Federation of the Valencian Community, Energetic Carrasco, Sports Director of the RCND, Amaya Sáez, Manager of the RCND, and Jaime Portolés, President of the Dénia Royal Yacht Club, who congratulated all the participants and thanked the success achieved in this regatta race so important for sailors.
