Two Baleària Diànium athletes achieve the minimum 60m hurdles to participate in the national championship

The Athletics Club Baleària Diànium had a great sporting activity last weekend. Among the various competitions, the control session held on Friday, January 28, at the Palau Velòdrom Lluís Puig in València stands out. So far there were 11 athletes from the club, among which the minimum achieved by Pablo Negre and Joan Pérez in the 60m hurdles test stand out. The aim of this challenge was to be able to participate in the Spanish U18 and U23 Championships respectively.

The following Saturday, in the same location, the U16 Autonomous Championship was held where the women's team achieved fifth place in the standings with 90.5 points. In this way, both they and the men's team competed with the 12 best teams in the Valencian Community. For their part, the boys reached sixth position with 72 points.

On the other hand, the podiums of Andreu Riera, Pau Jagersma, Marina Bermejo, Eddy Martínez and Joan Buigues also stand out in the Sub14 Individual Provincial Championship held in Petrer on the same Saturday.

Finally, on Sunday 30, the fourth day of the regional league of the 21/22 season took place in Benissa. 30 children from the club participated in it Baleària Diànium of the benjamín (sub10), juvenile (sub12) and child (sub14) categories.

Corinna Ruhmann's performance stood out on this day, who won first place in the 550m cross circuit lap. The second positions went to Mateo Ginés Sanz and Alba Ferrándiz Rico.

For her part, Evangelina Ippolitova achieved first place and Léo Baeza Cardona second in the lap with a distance of 1100m. In addition, in the children's category, the first position of Joan Buigues García and Marina Bermejo García stood out, the second of Amaia García de la Reina Pozuelo and the third of Natàlia Seguí López.
