La Foundation Christian-Marc Olmos Vente organized, last Saturday 10 of November, a new and solidary day of collection of tangerines. This new edition of the Orange Volunteer Day He left a total of 1.500 kilos of organic tangerines collected in l'Hort de l'Alé that will go to local Red Cross assemblies in Dénia and Xàbia.
Dozens of volunteers and friends of the foundation and the Red Cross participated in this traditional collection, which missed the actor Álvaro de Luna, who died just a few days ago, who has been present in almost all editions of this collection solidary The president of the Foundation, Pascual Olmos, had a few words of affection for him during lunch.
As was done last year, the president of the Red Cross Jávea, José Luis Doménech, has proposed to the Foundation to hand over a part of the tangerines picked up to Cholbi Brothers and the Day Center, both from Jávea.
Likewise, the Foundation will deliver 500 kg. additional to the members of ADIMA (Association of people with disabilities of the Marina Alta) in Pedreguer over the next few weeks.
