The mental health situation in the Marina Alta will gain visibility thanks to the documentary Close to the Mental Health, an audiovisual piece that aims to offer a vision of mental health by introducing nuances of the situation in the region and to publicize the work of AMADEM, the NGO for Mental Health of the Marina Alta.
Through testimony from those affected, relatives and professionals, this documentary filmed in Denia, Valencia, Alicante, Pedreguer and Gandía seeks to reduce stigma and seek opportunities for those affected.
Close to the Salut Mental will premiere the next 31 of October to the 20: 00 hours in the Social Center of Denia. The entrance is free, limited to the capacity of the premises.
