D * na closes its second edition with 20.000 people in the Marineta Cassiana

It's over. The Gastronomic Festival D * na lowers the curtain of its second edition with the satisfaction of having gathered 20.000 people, during the weekend, on the walk of the Marineta Cassiana.

During the second day, held this Sunday, 30 in September, it has been remarkable the increase of the public compared to the morning of the previous day. From the first hour there were many people who flooded the walk in search of a tapa, a coffee or enjoy the presentations of the day.

Fifteen chefs have participated throughout the Sunday on both stages, talking about their fetish products and, in some occasions, offering tastings of their elaborations to the public.

The programming of the main stage has begun with Tono Pastor, from El Bouet (Valencia), who has spoken about the pig. Next, the two Michelin stars Dani García has filled the main stage of D * na with the tuna as the extraordinary protagonist of a show showcooking in which the Andalusian chef has shown live several presentations that make up the letter of some of its premises.

Taking citron as a fetish, Miguel Ángel Mayor, chef of Sucede (Valencia) has shelled various applications of this versatile citrus. After him, the Mexican Ricardo Muñoz has spoken about the chile, to give way to Clara Puig and Borja Susilla, who have opted for the family of sparidae fish.

Caviar was the product chosen by Raúl Aleixandre, while Nuria Morell, from Nozomi, in València, opted for bonito, in an interesting presentation that left the audience wanting more. The programming of the main stage has been closed before the hour by the television Pepe Rodríguez, who has preferred to chat with the public about his culinary concerns and reflect on the world of cooking.

Rafa Margós, from the Dianense restaurant Les Bairetas, has passed through the central stage to talk about the Valencian paella. After him, Sebastian Romero, from La Sequieta (València), took the floor, and rock fish as the protagonist. The Italian Nico Tamani, from Parma, Creative City of Gastronomy, opted for Scrigno Di Parma., While the pedigree Juan Salvador Gayá spoke about the traditional pickles.

After a break, Mara Bañó, from Les Freses, spoke about the Muscat grape, and the chef Miquel Gilabert, from Suculent Gilabert, who has proposed different elaborations around the chaplain. Dacosta acknowledged that, having been born as a biennial event and becoming annual, "I dare not tell you if we will see you next year". Of course, he assured that "If we return, it will always be because the values ​​that made this festival exist, remain intact".
