This Friday night the beaches they will be filled with people willing to enjoy what for many marks the beginning of summer: the magical night of San Juan. Precisely due to the high influx of people who are expected to come to celebrate it, the Dénia City Council has activated a special cleaning device so that tomorrow the beaches look clean.
Among the novelties of this year it is worth noting the increase in the number of litter bins given the insufficient endowment and its small size for a night when so much waste is generated. Specifically, 10 large 1.500-liter containers will be distributed: 4 in Punta de raset, 3 in the Marineta Cassiana, 2 en Marines (Delivery notes) and 1 in them Molins. Likewise, 2 glass igloos will be installed on the Paseo de la Punta de Raset, so that users avoid leaving the bottles on the beach and the crystals escaping from the sieve.
The subsequent cleaning of the beaches will be done by mechanical screening, mechanical collection of fires and manual collection of waste. For this, 2 tractors with sieves, 2 4x4 multi-purpose vehicles, 1 truck of 3.500 kg and 3 transport vehicles will be available. Additionally, 2 6x6 trucks, 1 front loader and 1 mixed backhoe loader will be incorporated as extraordinary means.
Also as a novelty this year, the 11 people assigned in the sheet will add 14 extra workers (5 more than the previous year), to celebrate the holiday in transit from Friday to Saturday.
