Ten French athletes run 1.460 kilometers towards the curb Condemned

Solidarity has no limits, and now it shows us that it can overcome challenges that seem impossible. On Saturday 28 in May, a dozen ultra-distance athletes from Angers (France) will begin to travel the 1.460 kilometers that separate this French town of Denia with a goal: to collaborate with the Facing the association Edging.

These ten runners run in pairs for two hours and go taking turns among the ten components so that each group of runners will make approximately six hours a day interleaved manner, running an average of 200 kilometers a day together.

In addition, the race will have an important human side, as they will carry with them to children abused by injustice to live an unforgettable experience during that week. The procession completed with two caravans car, a trailer minbus three bikes. I will lead the runners themselves and follow those who are running about 5-10 kms or so. Auto caravans will be devoted to rest, meals and catering, and leave static as often as possible to establish bases everyday life.

The arrival of the runners to Dénia is scheduled for Saturday 4 in June, at 12: 00 hours, at the IES María Ibars, where they will arrive with a group of local runners who will accompany them on the last kilometers of their route.

Athletes who achieve this challenge belong to the association Intra. They are Daniel Thibaut, Grégoire Linde, Richard Marionneau, Vincent Guerin, Christophe Le Gouguec, Claude Thomas, David Maillochon, Alisia Metivier, and Delphine and Bruno Duchaussoy Duchaussoy who will participate only the first four days.

It all started cycling

This charity challenge was born in 2010 when association members know first hand the work being done on the curb Condemned region. From that moment Entraid members decided to collaborate with solidarity Convicted organizing three races Angers - Denia (2011, 2013 and 2015), all bikes with the aim of raising funds for the projects of the Association. 2015 condemned to travel in Angers (France) to explain all its employees the work they did in the Association and on the occasion of this visit the Cycling Race which will take place in the 2017 consolidated.

Now, with the organization of this new form of collaboration, both Entraid as Condemned expect to consolidate like the tour bicileta.
