Agents of the National Police in Dénia have arrested in this town a 42-year-old man accused of the crimes of discovery and disclosure of secrets, sexual abuse of minors and production of child pornography.
The investigation began with the complaint of a young woman who appeared at the National Police Station informing the agents that she had discovered in the false ceiling of the bathroom of her home a surveillance camera hidden in a small hole in the street. next to one of the lights of the room.
According to the victim, months ago one of the lights in that bathroom had broken down and one of his neighbors offered to repair it. To carry out the repair, the complainant left her the keys to her home, a moment that she allegedly used to install a mini spy camera in the false ceiling of the bathroom.
The agents of the Judicial Police Brigade, based on the statements made by the complainant, fully identified the alleged perpetrator and asked the Court for the pertinent authorization to carry out a search at his home.
To this end, they established a special police operation in which agents from the Technological Crimes Group of the Provincial Brigade of the Alicante Judicial Police, specialists in the analysis and study of computer devices, collaborated.
In this registry, the police officers located videos allegedly related to the complaint, as well as numerous files of pedophile content, some of which had allegedly been produced by the investigator himself.
After the arrest, the agents of the Dénia Police Station continued with the investigation and identified more victims, locating another "mini spy camera" also placed in a bathroom of another address where the arrested person had previously resided.
The detainee was accused of the crimes of discovery and disclosure of secrets, sexual abuse of minors and child pornography, being placed at the disposal of the Dénia Investigative Court, which decreed his entry into prison.
