Agents of the National Police have arrested a cybercriminal in the Alicante town of Denia who illegally sold paid audiovisual content through the Internet and via satellite. The criminal network had the provinces of Alicante and Malaga as its center of operations, places where all the money that the detainee received for illegally supplying audiovisual content converged. The investigators detected several channels in an instant messaging application dedicated to the illicit commercialization of paid audiovisual content, without having the necessary authorization or permissions, reaching more than 2.300 subscribers.
The detainee had a strong infrastructure
The alleged author had a strong technological infrastructure that managed the web pages to spread his illegal services. These pages showed articles where all the people who visited them were provided with the necessary knowledge to illegally view paid content. Likewise, they allowed users to illegally access multimedia content using mobile telephony and mobile televisions with Internet access.
