National Police agents have arrested an 18-year-old in Dénia for an alleged crime of damage by causing damage to a home of a person who moments before had notified the Police to communicate that some young people were doing a " bottle "in the vicinity.
It all started when the detainee and his friends were making "bottle" in a residential neighborhood of Dénia. The inconvenience caused did not go unnoticed by the residents of the area who called the Local Police to put an end to such illegal activity.
The policemen intervened the alcohol bottles and proposed for punishment to all those who were not complying with the sanitary and municipal regulations that are currently applied.
This fact occurs while the health measures dictated by the Government of Spain and the Generalitat Valenciana due to COVID-19 are in force. Despite the prohibition of drinking alcohol in the street and congregation of people in public spaces, these young people decided to make a bottle with the risk that it entails for themselves and for the people around them.
When the agents left the place, four young people, ignored the instructions of the police, and attacked a neighbor and her son who were observing the situation from the door of their home. They went to her to reproach her for having called the police and that the bottles had been taken from them, even pushing her.
Faced with this situation, the son went into his home to call the police again while his mother watched as the four young men did not stop their threats and their screams, which were increasing becoming more and more aggressive, until they began to break the blinds and the windows with punches and kicks, rendering them useless, without the woman being able to do anything for fear of the reprisals she might receive.
Immediately, several staff of the National Police appeared, acting in coordination with the Local Police of Dénia and they managed to stop the threats and damage, since the alleged perpetrators fled the place.
Subsequently, the agents of the Judicial Police of the Dénia Police Station were able to fully identify the four alleged culprits, proceeding to arrest one of them, being a young man of 18 years of age.
The investigation is still open pending the arrest of the rest of those denounced for these events, all this was reported to the Investigating Court of Dénia Guard.
