The region of the Marina Alta It had been more than a month without registering movements in the figures of the evolution of the coronavirus. Today, and just three days apart, two new cases of COVID-19 have been registered. The new positive, which according to the update offered by the Ministry of Health as of July 9, has been registered in the town of Pedreguer through a PCR test.
Until Monday, the day it became known that it had been detected a new case in Dénia after two months, the Dénia Health Department maintained its situation at 196 infections since the pandemic began, with 117 being the number of people affected by COVID-19 in the Dianense population.
Now, the number of infections confirmed by PCR increases to 198, a not alarming figure, since the Marina Alta continues to be one of the regions with the lowest incidence in the Community, but which shows that it is necessary to be alert and follow hygienic measures- recommended sanitary.
Likewise, the death data continues to be 19 people in the entire region since last April. In Pedreguer, 14 infections have occurred since the start of the pandemic and 4 have lost their lives.
