The Court of First Instance Number 3 of Dénia has dismissed the complaint lodged by Vicente Vidal de la Flor in which he requested the annulment of the elections in the Real Club Náutico de Dénia last September of 2017.
According to this ruling, Vidal de la Flor must pay the costs of the trial, although he has the option of appealing it within a period of five days before the Provincial Court of Alicante.
The facts can be traced back to the 25 past of 2017 in September. That day the presidential elections of the Real Club Naútico de Dénia were held, attended by the plaintiff, Vicente Vidal, and the current president, Jaime Portolés.
After the votes, the winner was Jaime Portolés with 360 votes, against the 205 of his opponent. Vidal de la Flor challenged the result first before the Electoral Board, which dismissed it. The October 2, the Electoral Board proclaimed Jaime Portolés Torregrosa elected president.
