27 July 2021 - 09: 33

The new data update provided by the Ministry of Health on the evolution of the coronavirus shows a decrease in infections in the Dénia Health Department, on which the entire region depends, with respect to the previous day and in the Dianense town itself.

The region has recorded 380 new positive cases compared to 466 last Friday, with 12.249 being the total number of people who have tested positive for COVID since the start of the pandemic. At this time, there are 1.340 cases that are still active in the Marina Alta.

In this way, the accumulated incidence in the region has increased slightly since the last update, going from 746,67 cases per 100.000 inhabitants (on Friday) to 785,35 cases per 100.000 inhabitants this Tuesday, which continues to be at extreme risk of contagion.

In the case of Dénia, the new positive cases registered have been 102, 26 cases less than those recorded last day (there were 128 new infections). The capital of the region currently has 342 active cases of the 3.625 infections that it has brought together since March 2020. The cumulative incidence stands at 798,56 cases per 100.000 inhabitants.

The good news is that one more day there is no record of deaths in the Dénia Health Department.
