The Minister of Health, Ana Barceló, has started her daily appearance showing her satisfaction with the passage to Phase 1 of the entire Valencian territory. Barceló has made a tour of the decline that has occurred in recent weeks in both hospitalizations and infections. In additions there has been an increase of 70%.
In the last 24 hours, there have been a total of 53 new discharges, bringing to 9761 the total number of people cured since the pandemic began. Regarding the new positive cases, 37 have been detected by PCR, being the total number of cases detected by PCR, 10850.
In hospital admissions, there are currently a total of 357 people, 25 less than yesterday, of whom 58 remain in the ICU, 9 less than yesterday. Regarding deaths, there have been 8 new cases, 4 of them residents.
The counselor has indicated that next week phase 2 of the entire Community will be requested, studying how epidemiology evolves this week and regarding displacements, the head of health has stated that they can be carried out within the same province. "The pass to Phase 2 will be determined throughout the province, to facilitate mobility and not by health departments as until now", Barceló has pointed out.
