The Department of Health of Dénia renews the 'Fent Empresa' seal that guarantees gender equality

The Conselleria de Igualtat, through the Institute for Women and Gender Equality, has just renewed the Dénia Health Department with the seal Fent Company, which guarantees the monitoring of gender equality standards in their labor relations.

This badge is granted after the validation and visa of the fourth edition of the Equality Plan of the Department of Health of Dénia, prepared in 2011. Among the objectives of the document is to correct gender inequalities, incorporate innovative measures to make equality a reality and provide services that facilitate the reconciliation of family and work life of professionals.

The Equality Plan of the Department of Health of Dénia strives to prevent possible discrimination in access to employment for reasons of sex, as well as guarantee equal opportunities and non-discrimination between both sexes in the promotion and professional classification.

With regard to remuneration, the Equality Plan contemplates the application of the principle of equity: to identical responsibility, the same salary. The Department of Health of Dénia also has a decalogue of instructions to make proper use of the language and promote non-sexist language.

The Equality Plan is completed with a statement of basic principles in which the company also establishes a Conflict Resolution procedure and a protocol for the prevention of sexual, psychological or moobing harassment or that could be generated for ideological reasons.

With respect to gender-based violence, Dénia's Department of Health considers all working women as victims of gender-based violence to provide documentation from any competent body of the Public Administration or the Women's Center, without necessarily being accredited by an order of protection or report of the Public Prosecutor's Office.
