The falleros Jose Navarro, Sisco Perlas and José Mª Chornet were chosen last night as Exemplary Falleros of the failures of Dénia 2022 after the meeting held at the headquarters of the Local Board Fallera.
José Navarro is a fallero of the Falla Oeste since 1980. In the 1986-87 financial year he was Children's President together with his father as Big President and he was also the godfather of the children's standard. In 1995-96 he became part of the large commission, being in 2008-2009 President of the falla and at the same time Vice President of the Falla Oeste Cultural Association until 2012 and from that year until 2016 he is President of the Association.
In 2019, the Falla Oeste grants him the Internal Mention of the failure in recognition of his fallera task, since in addition to the aforementioned positions he has been secretary of the failure, delegate of celebrations, raffles, artistic, bar.
Sisco Perles has also been a fallero of the Falla Oeste for 39 years, being the Children's President in the 1975-1976 exercise. He became part of the large commission in the 1985-1986 financial year, the year in which his father, Pepe Perles, was appointed President of the failure. In the 2007-2008 financial year, he was appointed President of the 60th birthday of the falla, sharing the position with his daughter María as Fallera Mayor Infantil. In the 2016-2017 financial year, he received the Internal Honorable Mention for his failure, by vote of the entire failure committee.
Jose Mª Chornet belongs to the fails Center since 1981. In 1994 he received the Gold Medal from the hands of Juan Ignacio Chiner, President of the Falla, the highest distinction on the date that a fallero from the Center could receive. The same year he took command of the falla. During the years 96 and 97, he is part of the Dénia Fallera Local Board together with Pedro Noguera as President, where he held the position of Treasurer. In 2017 it became part of the Falla Centro Association.
President of the Local Board Fallera, Jaume Bertomeu, has personally congratulated them. All of them will receive the recognition of the fallas of Dénia on February 19, during the traditional Fallera Gala presided over by the major falleras of Dénia.
