Dénia will have a Family Meeting Point (PEF) to address family conflicts

The general director of Childhood and Adolescence, Rosa Molero, has announced the future start-up in Dénia of a Family Meeting Point (PEF), a social service that will provide specialized attention in situations of family conflict to the residents of the city, as of the 28 municipalities that make up the judicial district of Dénia.

In a meeting held with the mayor of Dénia, Vicent GrimaltAnd the Councilor for Social Welfare, Cristina Morera, the characteristics and needs of this installation, which is not yet decided, have been addressed. According to Morera, "We are shuffling a couple of places but there is nothing decided".

According to Rosa Molero, the opening of the PEF in Dénia will mean the hiring by the Department of Equality of nine professionals with specialized profiles, especially to deal with cases of gender violence. These are two psychologists or psychologists, a technical person of social integration, an administrative assistant, an educator, a lawyer or lawyer, a worker or social worker and a superior technical person for the promotion of equality.

The case of the Dénia Family Encounter Point, considered category two, will be open a total of 42 hours each week, both during the morning and in the afternoon.
