First cancellations of 2022. The high incidence of coronavirus after the Christmas is causing the first cancellations this year.
The City Council of Dénia has just communicated that the events planned for the celebration of the festival of Sant Antoni are postponed.
Therefore, the traditional act of blessing the animals in Marques de Campo and the parade throughout the city is postponed without a new date. In 2021 this act was already suspended due to the pandemic.
Both the consistory and the organizing entities have considered it appropriate to suspend this celebration and "reschedule it when conditions are favourable".
