The Valencian Academy of Language has chosen Denia for the celebration, the next 25 and 26 of February, of the V Days of Onomastics and Toponymy of the Marinas and Safor.
The conference, which has already registered more than 70 people, will be developed in the Municipal House of Culture And four 15 lectures and presentations have been scheduled after which the audience will open.
Emili Casanova, president of the Onomastics section of the Valencian Academy of Language, stated in the presentation of the conference that the Marina Alta it is "where the most work has been done on onomastics, as well demonstrated by the work carried out by Professor Joan Ivars Cervera, a benchmark for research that has been carried out subsequently".
