AMUNT's walk against cancer achieves its goal by raising € 7500 for breast cancer research. Hundreds of people toured the streets of Dénia from the Plaza del Consell creating an extensive pink cloak for solidarity purposes.
This is the first walk convened by AMUNT against Cancer in Dénia, whose organization claims to feel excited about the success of the event. Hundreds of people joined this initiative on Sunday morning, which was accompanied by City Hall authorities, as well as representatives of Local Police, Red Cross and Civil Protection, along with a batucada and a group of Zumba. All the money raised has already been delivered to the oncologists and researchers of the Incliva Health Research Institute to continue their work to find a cure for the disease.
