Dénia has received officially the XarxaSalut adhesion certificate granted by the General Directorate of Public Health. This is the network of municipalities of the Valencian Community attached to the IV Health Plan of the Region with the commitment to develop local health promotion actions framed in this initiative of the Ministry of Health and Universal Public Health and the Valencian Federation of Municipalities and Provinces.
This commitment by the municipalities, in addition to the initial phase of adhesion in plenary session, has the development of health promotion actions from an intersectoral perspective, community participation and equity.
In addition to contemplating health in all policies and reducing inequalities in health, it incorporates the positive health and assets approach to health, which aims to make options for well-being and health easy and accessible for people.
Mayor, Vicent GrimaltAnd the Councilor for Health, Cristina Morera, have received from the director of the Public Health Center of Dénia, Pascual V. Martí Miralles, the certificate of adhesion of the municipality of Dénia to this project.
