Dénia became the epicenter of the legal debate with the celebration of Lex Forum

The city of Dénia hosted, last Friday, May 12, a new edition of Lex Forum, the most important legal debate forum held in the Valencian Community. to the capital of the Marina Alta Important names from the Spanish justice system were transferred to discuss different topics, in a conference that was held in the Maritime station de la ciudad.

Sastre said at the start of the day that has become Lex Forum "Dénia and the Valencian Community at the center of the debate on a reform that fully affects all legal operators and society as a whole".

Throughout the day featured speakers of great national and international prestige as the chief prosecutor of the Audiencia Nacional, Jesús Alonso; French liaison magistrate in Spain, Marie-Pierre Coquel, and room tax and Constitutional Court judge Antonio Narváez. Also they participated the general director of Relations with the Ministry of Justice, Joaquín Delgado; the president of the Criminal Chamber of the Supreme Court, Manuel Marchena, and Professor of Procedural Law and exmagistrado the Constitutional Court, Vicente Gimeno Sendra.

The closure of the 2017 edition of Lex Forum was given by the justice minister, Rafael Catala, reflected on the need for reform of the Criminal Law Enjuicimiento must be accompanied by a new "scaffolding" in the Office to strengthen its autonomy and facilitating "resolution of discrepancies" among the members of this institution.
