The president of the Association against Forest Fires (ACIF), Joan Sala, met yesterday with the mayor of Denia, Ana Kringe, to analyze the situation of the volunteer entity and its work in the Montgó fire and in the surveillance work they carry out together with Civil Protection.
Following the president's requests, the mayor undertook to acquire equipment for the volunteers and to study the budget for the renovation of the stations of the guards. The commitment was also acquired by the council to manage with the regional fire station the possibility of transfer to ACIF of any of the 4x4 vehicles that they intend to withdraw, as well as request the Department of Government to provide the Dianense association with a Tetra digital station.
On Monday afternoon, the mayor completed her round of meetings with a meeting with the Association of Neighbors of Les Rotes.
