Dénia is committed to encouraging the Office of Promotion of Valencia

The agreement between the city of Denia and the Valencian Academy of the Language is already a reality. Yesterday, the mayor of the city, Ana Kringe, and the president of the AVL, Ramón Ferrer, signed the agreement that will be valid for five years.

Following the signing of this agreement, Dénia promises to keep in Valencian signaling offices and municipal offices; preserve the preferential positioning of Valencia on the council's website, which, by default, you access the Valencian version; boosting the Office of Promotion of Valencia and fulfill its commitments under the cooperation protocol signed in July 2012 with AVL and the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport following which has created the AVIVA promotion agencies of the Valencian network.

At the same time, the city will offer its facilities to the academy to hold congresses and organized activities sponsored or AVL, and from now on should provide 75% of the cultural program in Valencia.

In addition, the council is committed to making Valencian courses for municipal workers to obtain the corresponding certification Qualificadora Coneixements Board of Valencia.

In exchange for all this, Dénia will become part of the municipalities that receive advice from the AVL in linguistic matters, being extended to festive organizations. The AVL will also include the city in all the subsidy lines that it may create for the municipalities with which it has signed a unique collaboration agreement, taking charge of the 80% of the financing.

Students of schools and institutes of Denia also be favored, as will be incorporated in preferential arrangements, programs broadcast language and literature organized by the Academy.
