Dénia will distribute more than 500.000 euros between 368 SMEs and freelancers to alleviate the consequences of the pandemic

On October 4, the application period for COVID 2021 and TEN aid from the Alicante Provincial Council closed. In total, 568.288,39 euros that the Dénia City Council will be responsible for distributing between companies, SMEs and autonomous people of the municipality who have requested them.

368 applications have been submitted to this new call for aid to economic activity: 234 from SMEs, micro-SMEs and self-employed professionals and 134 from the tourism sector (for specific TEN aid).

Two help lines

On the one hand, the COVID 2021 aid line is aimed at any economic activity that has its fiscal domicile in Dénia and has reduced its billing by a monthly average of at least 25%, between July 1, 2020 and July 30 June 2021, compared to the 2019 financial year. This line is endowed with 192.835,39 euros and each applicant can opt for a maximum grant of 3.000 euros.

Second, the TEN 2021 aid, aimed at companies, SMEs and self-employed with tax domicile in Dénia that carry out their activity in the tourism sector, amount to a total of 375.453 euros. These subsidies can be attended by businesses that have seen their profits reduced by a monthly average of at least 25%, between July 1, 2020 and June 30, 2021, with respect to the 2019 billing. Each applicant (companies or freelancers of leisure and hospitality, regulated accommodation, travel agencies and receptive offer and guides and active tourism companies) can receive a maximum of 12.000 euros.
