Dénia registers a sixth outbreak of coronavirus, the third in a week

August 20 from 2020 - 10: 32

As reported by the Minister of Health, Ana Barceló, there is a new outbreak of coronavirus in Dénia. It is already the sixth in the capital of the Marina Alta during the summer.

We know as an "outbreak" the contagion within the same circle of at least 3 people. That is, a positive for COVID-19 has reached, at least, two others.

In Dénia there have been 6 cases in recent weeks, according to Sanitat. In addition, half of these have been registered during the last 7 days, when the municipality suffers the highest incidence of COVID since the state of alarm ended.

Most of these outbreaks, including this last one announced yesterday that has affected 3 people, have a social origin, specifically in family or friends gatherings. These meetings are the ones that worry the trackers the most since they are very difficult to control, as reported to this medium. one of the authorities in charge of these tasks.

However, there have also been other outbreaks from nightlife and one in the workplace.

Situation of Dénia against the coronavirus

The regional capital is fully in a fight against a new wave of the pandemic and that, it seems, is hitting harder than in the months in which we had to confine ourselves.

Since March, Dénia has registered 185 positives in PCR tests, 64 in the last 14 days only. Therefore, the City Council has increased the new restrictions of conselleria in the city, tightening the surveillance of the police and canceling or modifying several cultural events that the City Council had scheduled.

Well, I'm not so alarming, I think that complying with the rules that the community and the city council have been giving us, this pandemic should be ended, but the authorities should give priority to health over leisure, since it has been shown that outbreaks are due to The youth's desire to have wild fun.

There is no better security and protection than staying at home without going out at all. Do not risk going out and locking yourself at home because there is no better security than that that the deadly virus is waiting on every corner and you never know if who you are talking to is infected and he hits you and you die. Better at home so we are safe

Las devedes is totally abandoned in all respects by this town hall !!!! Dénia taxes Kenya services !!!!!! a shame .... much to say about its beaches and others but they only take care of the beaches of the urban center !!!!

  4. Nacho says:

There are no police anywhere, restaurants gather tables and there are not 2 meters away, the beach is already the riot ... or I have very bad luck or I have to be calling attention to keep their distance and still, there is people who look bad at you for telling them.

What hurts the most are the traces. It's a shame not to have recorded the conversation. The son of a friend was in contact with a friend on a birthday and has tested positive. There were 7 people and they called him to say all the names he was with and make a tracking list. They told the parents that they could lead a normal life that nothing was happening and after 10 minutes they called them again, that they better quarantine as well and that they are not going to call the other boys on the list because they do not believe they are infected and that ignore what the TV says that they want to scare us…. SERIOUSLY???? They are playing with people's lives. My friend and son got in touch with all the holiday friends and parents right away. They have been home since Sunday without going out.
They are hiding numbers from us and they are not being followed as they should. It seems to me a shame and it hurts not to have recorded the conversation since that is reportable. When the summer passes and the tourists return home, you will see what awaits us.
    Worth the management.

Indeed, the municipal police are conspicuous by their absence, at least in the center. today seen a car of the national. During the confinement there was a couple, on foot, of municipal police continuously, now with the riot that was said, MISSING.

  7. Jose Garcia says:

I keep seeing too many people breaking the rules. And I don't see surveillance to enforce them. I already said yesterday that during the confinement in Les Deveses the police were seen at least 4 times a day, now it is very rare. They will possibly dedicate more vigilance to the urban nucleus.
