This Saturday thousands of people will come to Dénia beach to celebrate the San Juans night with a dinner on the beach and waiting for midnight to make the usual rituals of a night like this.
That will be the time for fun, but for the beaches return to their usual state and are up and running as normal by Sunday morning, many people will work hard at night cleaning them.
The Department of the Environment that directs Josep Crespo The cleaning staff has increased, for that night, from 11 to 26 people. In addition, trash and glass containers will be installed to facilitate the removal of waste by citizens and also increase the machinery that will be used to clean the beaches. In 2017 15 tons of waste were collected from the beaches after the night of San Juan.
Also the Local Police and National Police corps will reinforce their patrols during the night. The Local Police will allocate a total of six patrols that will be mainly concentrated on the sandy beaches, also coordinated with the National Police, which will allocate another three patrols to ensure the safety of neighbors who come to our beaches to celebrate the night of San Juan.
